Privacy Policy
How we handle information when you visit our site, contact our team, request a quote, or explore a career with J10.
Effective and last updated: September 2, 2026
This policy is written for J10’s current website and business model. It covers quote and contact details, career inquiries, standard website data, carrier-registration links, and the providers that help us operate the Site.
Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to the J10 Logistics website, including the pages and online forms that link to it (the “Site”). It describes how J10 Logistics, LLC (“J10,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles personal information in connection with the Site and related communications.
This policy does not govern a third party’s website, platform, or service, even if we link to it. It also does not replace a separate privacy notice or agreement that may apply to a shipper, carrier, vendor, employee, or job applicant relationship.
Information we collect
Information you provide
We may receive information when you contact us, request a quote, apply for a role, register your interest in working with us, or otherwise communicate with J10. Depending on the interaction, that information may include:
- name, company, job title, email address, and telephone number;
- shipment details such as origin, destination, service type, commodity, weight, timing, and other freight requirements;
- career information such as work history, professional profile or resume links, qualifications, and application responses; and
- the content of messages, requests, feedback, and other information you choose to provide.
Please do not submit Social Security numbers, payment-card details, medical information, or other highly sensitive information through a general Site form.
Information collected automatically
When you use the Site, we and the providers that support it may automatically receive technical and usage information. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, referring page, pages visited, approximate location derived from an IP address, timestamps, and Site interactions. Standard server logs, cookies, local storage, and similar technologies may be used to operate, secure, remember preferences for, and understand use of the Site.
Information from other sources
We may receive business contact or transaction-related information from customers, carriers, vendors, service providers, referral sources, publicly available sources, or other parties involved in a requested shipment or business relationship.
How we use information
We may use personal information to:
- respond to questions, quote requests, and other communications;
- evaluate transportation needs and arrange or support freight services;
- manage carrier, shipper, vendor, and other business relationships;
- review applications and communicate about employment opportunities;
- operate, maintain, personalize, secure, and improve the Site and our systems;
- detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, or unlawful activity;
- maintain records and enforce our agreements and policies; and
- comply with law, legal process, audits, and regulatory obligations.
Cookies and third-party services
The Site may use technologies necessary to provide core functionality, remember display preferences, reduce abuse, and measure performance. Most browsers allow you to delete or block cookies or Site storage. Blocking them may affect some functionality.
Some pages may include content or links provided by others. For example, our carrier-registration link takes you to Highway, and a map may be delivered by OpenStreetMap. Those providers may receive information from your browser when you use their content or visit their services. Their privacy notices, not this policy, govern their practices.
Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, including to respond to a request, manage a business or employment relationship, maintain appropriate records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and satisfy legal, accounting, insurance, and compliance obligations. Retention periods vary based on the nature of the information and the applicable requirements.
Information security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information in light of its nature and the risks involved. No Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please use care when deciding what information to send electronically.
Your choices and privacy rights
You may choose not to provide information, although doing so may prevent us from responding to or fulfilling a request. You can manage cookies and local storage through your browser. If you receive marketing email from us, you can use the unsubscribe method in that message or contact us.
Depending on where you live and subject to applicable exceptions, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, or to object to or limit certain uses. To make a request, email contact@j10logistics.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request. You may also use an authorized agent where applicable by law.
Children’s privacy
The Site is intended for business and employment audiences and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Processing in the United States
J10 is based in the United States. If you access the Site from another country, your information may be processed in the United States or other locations where we or our service providers operate, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our practices, services, or legal obligations change. We will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice when appropriate.
